I feel one of the most important things to do is to tutor according to each child's specific learning needs. To me, this is the only way to have a successful and positive tutoring experience. I make sure that by the time my pupils leave my care, they can break problems down and understand each step. I believe this increases their chance of taking on similar problems in the future. I want to help my students understand mathematics in a way they never have before. Right now I am in my final year at Washington University. I already have my Bachelor of Psychology, where I minored in Children's Studies. I am currently finishing my prerequisites for Physical Therapy. My love of teaching began in middle and high school where I taught dance. While I was in middle school, I also started tutoring elementary students and continued to teach higher grade levels as I progressed in school. I have also studied abroad in Denmark, teaching English to high schoolers. I love tutoring math for middle and high school students, as well as helping prep math ACT test takers. I am looking forward to helping your student finally quit struggling with tough math concepts.
